The Kent AGM
was held on Sunday 26th January prior to our ‘Big
Winter Meet’ at Teynham.
There was a distinct lack of members at the AGM – a
total of 6 plus your Committee. However the visitor
numbers were very encouraging, despite the awful
weather, and we made a healthy boost to our depleted
funds.
The new Controller worked very well and we encourage
more of you ‘to have a go’ – thanks to Jeff and James
the operators on the day.
It was great to see Thelma – armed, of course – with
her famous Cheese Scones! also Paul and Terry Felton
who are always very welcome.
Many thanks to those of you who were able to attend.
As a group we have received an increased number of
invitations to shows around Kent and I hope we will be
able to have some representation at most of them. |
